Psychologist MSc and Psychotherapist

Ms Elina Kontzoglou is a trained psychologist and psychotherapist. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Psychology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2004) and then gained a master's degree (MSc) from the University of Ioannina in "Dyslexia, multilingual environment and using new technology to deal with it" (2007). She is a licensed practicing psychologist. She completed the three-year training in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, Greek Society of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (2016). Ms Kontzoglou has been a scientific associate at the Centre of Developmental Pediatrics "A. Fokas", Hippokration (2006-2007). Since 2006, she has been working as a child and adult psychotherapist. She became the Child Psychologist of the Hellenic Children Village, Filyro, Greece, in 2008. She has been attending the Child Mental Health Institute training, London, UK (Play Therapy) since 2016. Bereavement Counselling for Children and Families, Supporting Children with Domestic Issues and Family-related crisis, are areas of her expertise. She has been invited as a speaker and trainer in various educational organizations. Ms Kontzoglou has been working in “ProsOpsi” Mental Health Institute since 2016.
