Eleni Kyrka

Psychologist

Eleni Kyrka is a Clinical Psychologist and a Family Therapy Psychotherapist. She graduated with honors from the Department of Psychology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 2016. In 2020 she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in "Developmental Psychopathology of Infancy and Early Childhood", Medical School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She graduated as a Systemic/ Family Psychotherapist, from The Center for Systemic Study and Therapy of Thessaloniki (K.S.M.Th.) and participated in the annual training program "Basic principles of child and adolescent psychotherapy, introduction to family psychotherapy and parent counseling", organized by the Hellenic Centre of Mental Health and Research (EKEPSYE) (2018). Her continuous training includes expertise on topics related to trauma and therapeutic interventions, supporting children and their families in separation processes and supporting children after suffering traumatic experiences (The Scientific Association for Child and Adolescent Care, Greece and The Child Mental Health Centre, London). In 2019 she became a member of the Multidisciplinary Team at the Hellenic Children's Village in Fyliro under the clinical supervision of Dr. Lappas. In 2023 she established a private psychotherapy clinic in Veria where she works psychotherapeutically with children, adolescents and adults. Eleni Kyrka is a member of the ProsOpsi Institute Psychotherapy team, in Thessaloniki.
